Personal Identification Data

We collect information that identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address. This is required to create your driver profile and facilitate communication.

Professional Documentation

To ensure safety and compliance, we collect photos and data from your Driver's License, Vehicle Insurance, and Registration Certificate.

Device & Technical Identifiers

We collect Device or Other IDs (such as Advertising ID, Android ID, IMEI, and BSSID). This information is used for:

Fraud prevention and security monitoring.
Ensuring app compatibility and performance.
Identifying unique sessions for driver support.

Location Information

Background Location Tracking: The RoundTriip app collects location data to enable real-time delivery tracking for customers and to optimize route assignments. This data is collected even when the app is closed or not in use, provided you have granted permission.

2. How We Use Your Information

To facilitate and manage deliveries.
To process payments and calculate earnings.
To verify your identity and vehicle eligibility.
To provide customer and technical support.
To improve our app functionality and user experience.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

Customers: Your name and real-time location are shared with customers during an active delivery.
Service Providers: Third-party partners who help with payment processing, cloud hosting, or background checks.
Legal Authorities: When required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Account Data (name, email, phone, address): Retained for the duration of your active driver account and for up to 12 months after account deletion to resolve any outstanding disputes, comply with legal obligations, or enforce our agreements.
Professional Documents (license, insurance, registration): Retained while your account is active and for up to 12 months after account deletion for regulatory compliance and audit purposes.
Location Data: Real-time location data used for active deliveries is retained for up to 90 days for dispute resolution and quality assurance, then permanently deleted.
Device & Technical Identifiers: Retained for the duration of your active account and deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
Delivery Photos (proof of delivery): Retained for up to 90 days after the delivery is completed, then permanently deleted.
Payment & Transaction Records: Retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.

When your data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized so it can no longer be associated with you.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure server infrastructure, and access controls. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable precautions to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

6. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Upon request, we will delete your account and associated personal data, subject to the retention periods for legal and financial records described in Section 4.
